Cabinet Leray Roger is a private legal and strategic advisory practice founded in 2005. It exists to offer principals the kind of counsel that senior lawyers, once in career, cease to provide personally.

Biography

Leray Roger

Leray Roger read law at the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and completed his graduate studies at Yale Law School as a Fulbright Scholar. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2000 and the Paris Bar in 2001.

For fourteen years he practiced with two of the world's leading firms, advising public companies, private equity sponsors, and family enterprises on transactions across Europe and North America. In 2004 he founded the practice that carries his name, with the intent of offering clients the unhurried, senior attention that larger institutions cannot readily sustain.

His practice today is deliberately narrow. He accepts a limited number of engagements each year, most on referral from principals, judges, and fellow counsel. He is consulted as often for judgment as for law.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an adjunct at the INSEAD Executive Governance Program, and a frequent, if reluctant, commentator on the private conduct of consequential negotiations.
